This feels like a bit of a bet for expats that their regional borders reopen AND their local OW partners will fly. Clever move for Qantas gently encouraging the most inclined to fly to get back into it... Dreaming of the post-vaccine return to a full international network!!

I've heard they were in fact sold all together to 'a government entity' on an immediate/near term delivery basis... which would imply they're gone and not coming back for a farewell tour. Lovely as it would be, I really doubt QF would have the budget for something like that even in 6-12m time......

With respect, I disagree on (1) and (4). Personally, I'd always look for the QF lounge at LHR T3 first (the only reliable coffee in the airport) before checking out CX F etc. I'm also not sure we can assume someone entitled to the J lounge from their status would then pay the full fee F lounge ac...

Forgive me the assumption that $10m is through your business, not you personally, so your complaint is really that they don't have special recognition for people responsible for choosing business services? Not totally unreasonable - I think Chairman's Club for Qantas has this kind of approach wit...

The rules state that there is a 'common travel area' of the UK and Republic of Ireland, however if you land in Dublin and fill in your entry card nominating an address in England, you will not be asked for that card or to fill in a new one on your arrival in England. Some people have therefore co...

Any European SIM will give you free roaming across all EU and Switzerland within your allowance. â¬30 will be plenty for 20GB... I'd suggest Orange or Bouygues. Both will be sold in CDG arrivals and have people that speak English. Just remember to start with parle vous anglaise or...
