• I submitted my application at Sydney GPO Thursday 9th June 11:00. Got the e-mail at 13:00 Friday 10th June saying it was ready to be collected next business day! Wonderful! After a Monday celebrating Her Majesty's birthday (with the passport office closed)... I then had to wait in line for four a...

  • Another reason to thank the Australian Consumer Law! It is illegal to advertise (to Australians) a price which is not the final and all inclusive price... none of that rubbish if you do your searches from Australian websites usually.

  • Another unhelpful thing about travel insurance is they often have a clause excluding medical coverage for treatments in countries where it would be covered by a reciprocal health agreement! Very annoying if you don't realise this till later when you go to claim from travel insurance... always loo...

The below link should help. I think that should be 48 hours (?) and that is hours from when you take the test to when your flight is scheduled to depart. If you are transiting through UAE from somewhere else then the test must be taken before the first flight.https://www.gov.uk/guidance/travel-to...

  • Some further details for anyone interested... I arrived in SYD at 22:10. It took two hours to be processed through the airport and get to a bus, which took us (without telling us) to Sheraton Grand on Hyde Park arriving around 00:45. Subject to availability, you can upgrade to rooms with usable b...

  • Forgive me the assumption that $10m is through your business, not you personally, so your complaint is really that they don't have special recognition for people responsible for choosing business services? Not totally unreasonable - I think Chairman's Club for Qantas has this kind of approach wit...
