I've stayed at 30 airbnbs since 2018 - from the all over the US, Australia, Italy, and not had one single cancellation. Given the devaluation in Marriotts Bonvoy program, I'm leaning to book more and more airbnb's.

I think this is good news but the load on the AKL lounge is going to be tough given that there will be 3 x 380's departing within 30-mins. And its not just the additional 40 premium cabin people - its also the fact that some of those people (ie Golds and Plats) will be allowed guests. Dont forget...

Well the QF lounge certainly needs expanding. Was in there last week catching a midday flight to BNE and people were hanging from the rafters. Hardly a place to stand let alone sit - but the staff seem to deal with it all in their stride. Good news also re the opening of a Virgin lounge, long ove...

You might also find that Gatwick might be upgauged to an A380 sooner than later given that EK will take delivery of 13 whales over the next 12-months... :-)
