I think this is good news but the load on the AKL lounge is going to be tough given that there will be 3 x 380's departing within 30-mins. And its not just the additional 40 premium cabin people - its also the fact that some of those people (ie Golds and Plats) will be allowed guests. Dont forget...

Well the QF lounge certainly needs expanding. Was in there last week catching a midday flight to BNE and people were hanging from the rafters. You might also find that Gatwick might be upgauged to an A380 sooner than later given that EK will take delivery of 13 whales over the next 12-months... :-)

I would definitely stay in the new concourse and visit the EK lounge. Its brand new, holds in excess of 2200 people and as someone already said, its their flagship lounge. Food and wine selections are also excellent...

Not sure re access to the EK lounge in SIN using your QC card, but you should be fine using the Qantas Lounge (even though flying EK metal)

No need to check - you'll certainly be fine to use the F lounge. Bear in mind, complimentary Spa treatment is only for 15-mins. Any longer and you will need to pay. Enjoy.
