Interesting to note the comments on VA2 ordering B783’s, and their selection of Business Class seating. From my readings VA2 is trying to position itself above JQ, and just below QF in inflight offerings, which would probably mean off shelf J seating, and nice but not outstanding food offer...

I feel business flying will change dramatically in the near future; virgin's extra leg room X product will definitely appear attractive to business, and maybe a PE product replacing J on trans continental and NZ routes, remembering that Companies will be facing financial problems as well. Can't ...

If you're leaning towards a c/ c cover, definately look at Amex plat , the insurance is through Ace Insurance, who are on the ball, added benefits are 1 free flight with VA to any Aus or N.Z. City per year, and 1.5 points per $ spend on the card. The free flight covers the annual fee.

I use Cover-More insurance, you can buy an anual policy on-line.. I have coverage on my Amex Plat card, but I like the safety of an extra insurer incase of emergancies in medically expensive Countries.
