• Staff travel: who 'owns' the points?

    How is the company supposed to claim your points? The T&C only allow transfer to family members.

  • Utilise the cargo areas! Some lightweight aluminium or carbon fibre bed frames would be a licence to print money with minimal impact on fuel consumption. They're not going to be able to take much cargo on a 20 hour flight anyway.

    Very comfortable and enjoyable aircraft. Much nicer streamlined appearance than the humpy 747. Sad to see it go :/

  • Very poor offering from Qantas. I'm surprised that no Qantas club membership is included, given most applicants on $200k+ probably have earned it anyway. The fact that the 20% bonus status credits don't count towards life-time gold (LTG) or Platinum One is especially miserly.

  • Any shots of the back of the plane? Hows their cattle class?

  • If Virgin had the money to invest I'd rather see new lounge locations. Hobart and Townsville spring to mind.

    Boof:"It’s not volunteer for free..."The Qantas memo pretty clearly says 'shift will be voluntary and unpaid' unless it falls within rostered hours, according to the ASU.

  • It is frustrating that changes in rewards cards and loyalty programs always seem to be negative. I would not want to deal with Citibank. They are frustrating to deal with and they find excuses to not pay out signup bonuses.
