Great initiative as the legroom is very tight and feels particularly non-Cathay compared to the rest of their fleet. As a HK resident hoping the "dining proposition" really does get elevated as this is an area that really lets the overall Cathay experience down. 

Marco Polo (Cathay) silver only gives you access to Cathay Lounges when on Cathay flights. No lounge access to OneWorld lounges or when flying other OneWorld carriers. 

Same experience, visited Bangkok twice in the last 3 months and both times immigration on arrival and security / immigration on departure have taken barely 3-4min.  Great experience and a far cry from the dreadful slow queues of the past 

Never been brave enough to try using my APEC card for visa free entry to Vietnam for what is obviously a holiday (based in HKG so fly in Friday night and fly out Sunday night for a short weekend away). Has anyone ever been questioned ' challenged for using it for non business travel?

Great news on the re-opening, was at the SATS Blossom lounge yesterday evening, half of which was roped off, the remaining section being the inner / darker area which was depressing to spend time in. Even worse was the horrific laksa they served.Does anyone know the history behind Cathay's decisi...
