May have missed this mentioned elsewhere, but the page on Virgin's website explaining the new fares also references 'Fly Ahead' ending as a benefit for Golds from mid-November, and becoming a Platinum only benefit.

Trying to search on the QF website now for some award space come September this year. Plenty seems to be showing, but I can't seem to get a direct flight. If I search MEL to KL, all the options route me on a QF flight to SYD or BNE, then MH onward to KL. If I change the search to originate in SY...

They're photos of the No1's My Lounge in Gatwick.https://no1lounges.com/service/airport-lounges/my-lounge/london-gatwick#Seems the My Lounge brand has been around since about 2014/15 over there. So these photos are more an indication of the expected style for Brisbane.

Seems like Australian Aviation had the exact same dinner and breakfast mains as you (according to their recently posted review), albeit seated at the back of the bus. So aside from plating, not a huge differentiation food wise. Although the P.E. mid-flight snacks menu does look substantially better.

I received an email from velocity about it on the Friday (31st) saying there would be no access over the weekend and that the membership call centre wouldn't have access either. Logged in today though so...

Thanks for that Waynec. As I said, I was just under the impression that all flights Melb-Perth were a330 with Virgin. A-la:http://www.ausbt.com.au/virgin-australia-ramps-up-coast-to-coast-airbus-a330-services-for-sydney-melbourne-perthBut your answer makes sense. Disappointing, but makes sense. A...

I was under the impression that Melbourne-Perth-Melbourne was exclusively a330 for VA every flight, every day of the week. I just made a booking for a Melbourne to Perth flight in June to find that only one of the flights on the day (a Saturday, mid month) is a330, the rest were listing 737. Is t...
