No gate facilities are currently equipped for the wingspan of the 788 aircraft at T2 right now. The MEL operation is within gates already capable of handling the A/C as are the remote stands at the GC and in CNS. Also gives the ground teams in MEL, CNS and OOL whom are interchanged between domest...

I scored the last Star Class seat on the inagural. One would wonder what type of flight it will be. Hopefully we can expect some sort of party-esqe type of service.

Haha I know meant more on the point seat allocation. Lets face it we are lucky they still fly from Sydney to Melbourne at times.

or break from the QF flt number and transfer to a gatwick service (yeah you do loose the 380 but sure as hell gets you out of the hell hole that is LHR)

its like how business SYD ADL PER nets 140 status credits, while business SYD PER 80 status credits - yet the fare isnt any different normally.
