I much prefer the new QF solo J seats. Was on a JAL 787 this week from NRT. Cabin was a densified sky suites 2-2-2. Not much storage, bed felt a bit skinnier and not as comfortable (thinner mattress pad?). The wife said catering was superb (5*), but the menu was a bit too Japanese for me. We tho...

We use it several times a year, just back from a month trip. That gets expensive, but still not as much as the dog kennels, our other big predeparture expense.

I won't miss the QF Lounge in T2, nothing special there & possibly the worst of all the outstations. But I will miss stopping off in the Sakura Lounge on thwe way.
