Regardless of status surely if one is a financial member of the Qantas Club one can use the Club lounge on arrival or departure?

One  of the few advantages of getting older I  took advantage of senior life membership on turning  60with Qantas and Ansett clubs. Both  cost around $1600 ....you win some and you lose some....Ansett has gone but while   qantas no longer offers life membership it is not...

One hopes history does not repeat itself. Was it the last time air New Zealand and Singapore airlines were in bed together they had controlling shares in Ansett  and looked away when Ansett collapsed.?  Too self centred to realise their star alliance frequent flyer programme was indeed ...

Eu goes might think it is rubbish but he is defending the indefensible.star alliance is purely a marketing tool....when Ansett collapsed  star alliance and ansetts major shareholders Singapore airlines and air newzealand  did absolutely nothing...they watched as the unions even changed ...

Star alliance  is only a marketing alliance with no real responsibility or care.  Those of use who lost hundreds of thousands of points when star alliance member Ansett collapsed realised the futility of this so called organisation, Star Alliance carried on ignoring hundreds of thousand...
