It's a good start. Feeling a little envious of you Aussies as I am merely a Brit who used to travel London-Brisbane 5 round trips a year (almost all my family are in Qld, my business is in England). No hints as yet from the Fed Government or from the states for non-Aussies (fully vaxxed).

Not only those Aussies who are overseas - what about us non-Australians overseas? I don't see any perks in Qantas' plan for us.

Good news I guess - but without Qantas opening up to the world, it's not that exciting if you're based in London and used to do 7 or so round trips to Brisbane back in the good old days.

So, Qantas is now a budget airline charging full ervice airline prices. The ongoing cynicism of what was once a great airline is disappointing.

Fiddling while Rome burns? Until and unless Qantas gets back to the big routes (UK USA) they can only noodle around the edges while the big boys get on with flying.

Me too. I logged in three days back to check out Heathrow-Brisbane return flights and noted the fares. When I got the Qantas Platinum email I went back online - nope. No discount at all despite my flights fitting the T&Cs. I got all excited too ....

I don't like having to pass through Dubai airport. Putting that aside, now the US has added Dubai as one of its 'unsafe' airports therefore banning the carrying of laptops etc in the cabin, the UK may well follow suit. Dubai's not on their list - just yet. As I do the Sydney-Heathrow circuit nume...
