Food for thought if you found the flights you wanted take them to a local agent and have them match the price, they earn their commission and you only get charged 1-2% on your credit card or they allow you to pay via cheque, cash or eftpos.

Where were you looking to stay in paris? Any particular sights you were wanting to see? My first stay was in the Les Halles area at the Citadines which was lovely. It allowed my family and I to walk to local attractions comfortably but it all depends on if you want to visit particular area.

A lot of banks are using Zurich as their credit card insurance, personally I think its far too vague offering no serious coverage details even if you were to contact them. Some credit card insurances use words like "reasonable" eg "we will offer reasonable cover for lost luggage" well whats reaso...
