Feb 06, 2015, 03:21 PMSounds awesome, but the by-product is a lounge for QFF Platinum members only who aren't paying top dollar for their fair. I can imagine the airline would find that hard to justify.

Non reconfigured 747, Flying Qantas Haneda -Sydney later in the year.
Mar 12, 2016, 06:08 PMYou cant be certain of the config until you check in. Seat map was showing old 747 config up until the day prior for my flight out of HND in Jan. If it does change you'll get a flat bed anyway so enjoy your trip.

What is the smallest aircraft you have flown on for an international flight?
Feb 16, 2016, 05:35 PMI know of a few people who flew a handful CT4s from NZ to AUS. Additional bladder fuel tanks inside the cockpit. Not a flight I would enjoy.

Sep 20, 2015, 11:52 AMYes. Qantas website reads that a 15 yo is old enough to be a guardian of any youger siblings when traveling without parents or others. I would believe that line of thinking would extend to lounges. They shouldn't expect service at the bar however!
