Yep you'll probably see QF re-route those A380's onto MEL/SYD-HKG services. The MEL P/C lounge is a big and important investment and not one that QF is looking to close!

chap6595 I agree and believe that as the QF B789 fleet grows, we will see a return to Dubai from MEL with possibly the addition of PER & BNE to DXB. I'm hopeful that QF will also add additional trans pac services to DFW from MEL & possibly BNE as well as expanded services to SFO. The B787...

QF will only add capacity to China if it can make money, there is a huge amount of capacity between China and Australia and so it maybe best for QF to allow current capacity in the short term to be grown into and allow things to settle for a while?
