Bose shrinks the SoundLink with Micro Bluetooth speaker

Bose will add a third member to its SoundLink Bluetooth speaker range this month with the debut of the SoundLink Micro.

Available from September 22 for $170, the SoundLink Micro takes the core technology of the popular travel-friendly speakers and shrinks it down to a puck-sized package.

Measuring 9.5cm across and 3.8cm deep, the slabette speaker comes in black, orange and 'midnight blue'.

The SoundLink Micro is also sufficiently waterproof to withstand poolside splashes and encased in soft silicone for protection from scratches, dents, cracks, hits, falls, dust, dirt and sand.

Battery life is rated at up to six hours, which will outlast almost any Spotify playlist, and it doubles as a speakerphone with push-button access to make and take calls from your iOS or Android device.

A chance to win one would be fab. 😊
