Last October, I flew the SQ 78X from SIN — PER and the economy class seats were so cramped that I couldn’t sleep. The seat width was so narrow that it made me hard for me to sleep. Has anyone find it hard to sleep on the SQ 787 plane?
The economy seat made you hard, oh dear! There's always the bathroom to relieve yourself. Maybe next time , not fry SQ but qantas and then you get real hard! Herro prease

Any airline putting 9 seats across in economy on the 787 will have cramped seats. Unfortunately that's nearly all airlines except Japan Airlines who styed with 8 abreast. And good on them!
The Y seats SQ have on their 78X and regional A359s are not great. Even though the A359 is wider than the 787, the seats are the same width with the extra fuselage width just going into wider aisles.
You seem to enjoy posting nothing more than sarcasm! Your Title " Happytravella " is far from showing you to be just that.
If you can't respond in a sensible pleasant consructive manner to posts then DONT respond at all , just go away.
I don't think the ET team do a lot of moderation of these community forums. Even the smutty and racist posting from 'Happytravella' above has not seen a response from the moderator.
In response to Rod H's enquiry, 'Herro Prease' is a racial slur/stereotype used in South Park in relation to Chinese people. The smutty stuff is the reference to tumescence. I agree that there needs to be more moderation of this childish rubbish.
mern2001. Thanks for the answer to my question. I never watched South park so did not know about the origin of the slur but guessed what it mean.
It's high time the moderaters did something about "Happytravella " as he/she seem to only post sarcastic remarks and nothing really constructive. He/She certainly does not seem to be very Happy!!!
He /she should just " go away " and find some other Forum where they might be welcome as they're not in this one if I read other comments correctly..
Ryan's reply is best - what in particular about SQ 787 Y is bad compared to any other 787 Y? Putting 9 seats across a fuselage designed for a spacious 8 is always going to be cramped. All the airlines work with the same cabin width, so not sure this is an SQ specific problem
