Compliments of Cuctomer Contact - bonus QFF points

Hi,

I was checking my status credits and FF points after a recent trip to Japan, and discovered 10.000 bonus QFF points had landed in my account.

On reading the reason (see thread title) I assumed that perhaps the Customer Service officer, with whom I had had a nice chat, had gifted them to me at his discretion.

But, then I wondered if it was because the entertainment system was down for the entire flight. Happily they had sent out a text message to the passengers in advance, so there were no grumbles that I heard, and they made the right call not to delay the flight in order to fix it.

I was surprised and very happy to receive them, so no complaints! Has this happened to anyone else? and did you fathom the reason?

I got 5000 today, not sure why. Could be because of yet another delayed flight during the week, or maybe a Christmas gift.
