When in doubt, McDonald's.
Yum! Sure to love that, but are there any more unique restaurants that we can drop in? (No lounges sorry, we're Y people)
By fast food I meant non-dine in, not the typical fast food restaurants...sorry!

Terminal options are McDonald's and KFC landside (level 1) and Burger King airside (level 2).
Carl's Jr, McDonald's and KFC have restaurants at the Airport Shopping Centre.

I'd go to Shakey Isles for a meal. It is in the terminal after immigation. Go towards the large ceiling to floor window that overlooks the tarmac and runway and it is to the left handside.

If you are staying overnight in Auckland, try Burger Fuel (NZ's equivalent to Carl's Jr). Otherwise, you're very limited at the airport.
