Air France flew an A380 to Cancun as a part of their 80th birthday in 2013, wonder if the guests in the top deck had to walk down the stairs to disembark.

Perhaps simplest answer "not enough pax" but then one will wonder why it is not enough pax to/from that amazing continent with great population.

Actually, the Emirates A380 can be seen at Sao Paulo Guarulhos occasionally. I flew there last December and saw an EK A380 at the gate next to me.
