Im Flying with QantasA380 to Dubai and then connecting flight with EmiratesA380 to Amsterdam with a QF Number. Thinking of upgrading to Premium Economy can anyone pls tell me if its worth it and hows the experience thanx.

You can only upgrade on QF metal using QF points.

Log into your FF account, go to manage my booking and press the upgrade button on the relevant flight. Note that the cheapest economy fares are not upgradeable.

Alternatively you might get an email from QF offering for you to Bid for an Upgrade. If so follow the instructions in the email.

In both cases, an upgrade is not guaranteed.

If you are using points to up-grade it will only apply to the SYD-DXB sector as DXB-AMS is Emirates metal.

If you're paying to up-grade,again it will only apply to SYD-DXB as Emirates don't offer a Premium Economy product on any of their flights.

Either way it's well worth it to up-grade on the Qantas sector.Their Premium Economy product is the best there is.

as an ex-BA PE traveller i completely agree with Neil above - Qantas PE is brilliant - good seats good food great service - but you can only try to upgrade on QF flight not EK (as no PE of course) - if you can buy the ticket PE it really is worth it and then try for the business upgrade with points!

Qantas PE is definitely worth the upgrade. It represents one of the best ways to use your points, but it is a bit hit and miss whether you get it. Good luck!
