Any thoughts on the best Star Alliance lounge at Heathrow's T2?

I'm flying SQ in business class and have Star Alliance gold. I expect I'm going to have time for some lounge hopping, but want to know if there are any other then the Silverkris lounge worth visiting. Thanks!

There are four Star Alliance lounges at T2: the Lufthansa lounge (well, two lounges, as one is the general business class lounge and the other for Senator/Gold members) in the main terminal, and in the 'satellite' terminal there's Singapore Airlines, Air Canada and United Airlines.

Your Star Alliance Gold card will get you into the Lufthansa Senator lounge, and as this is in the main part of the terminal there's no harm in your ducking in to check it out before you head to the satellite terminal – it's got a decent selection of drinks plus a buffet of some hot & cold dishes, but nothing spectacular.

At the satellite terminal, I think the SQ lounge is probably your best bet, although if you want real coffee, visit the Air Canada lounge for their barista service. The United lounge is close by, too, so you can swing through there just to see what's on offer.

Anyone know what Garuda use at Heathrow? I can't seem to find anything and perhaps it's a SkyTeam?
