I'm booked to travel on etihad first class a380 out of sydney but the seat availability is rather strange to me. I booked this seat as a reward. I notice when managing my booking that two seats remain in the cabin that are forward facing but when I try to select them myself the process ends in an error. I contacted etihad who also tried to select them for me but then tell me the flight is full and i have to stick with another selection. When i look at booking the same flight just to check out the availability of seats it still seems like all the seats are booked but yet why are they still selling tickets? Do etihad overbook first? I wonder if they bump people out of first?
