I'm flying American Airlines from New York to Dallas next month (no onward Qantas flight that day) and I was wondering if I am able to gain access to the AA Lounge with my Qantas Club membership.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Did you book on a QF flight number, or direct with AA, and do you have OW status, or just the Qantas Club membership? What class are you flying?

I was able to about 5 years ago when flying Washington to LA, but not sure if it's changed. Booked direct with AA

OP has said he has Qantas Club. He can access Admirals lounges before American Airlines flights- with an AA or with QF code. I have done this plenty of time.

Should you ever fly to LAX in F class with AA from Sydney, expect excellent service if you have a connecting flight elsewhere in the USA with AA. During my last trip there I was met personally, taken throughout customs and baggage collection and driven to the respective gate for the new flight. Was also given free drink vouchers for the lounge at the new departure gate. Cant complain about that service.

Is this still the case? (Since the reciprocal arrangement has been stopped). I couldn't find this on the Qantas or AA websites.

Well that was obtained off the Qantas website, the day I posted.

"the reciprocal arrangement has been stopped"... news to me. AA also still listing the qf lounges as accessible before  qf or aa flight.
