Hi,

I've got the option of taking either the A350 or A380 service from BKK to LHR. I'll be in economy unfortunately.

Can anyone comment on which is the better experience?

Cheers.

I'm no fan of TG or the A380, especially when arriving in LHR. (or BKK for the same reasons).

However, the A350 is a delightful aircraft with better lighting; humidity levels and lower passenger numbers.
Especially in EY.
Instead, you should be taking the Finnair daylight service (A350-900) to London via Helsinki. Immigration in Helsinki quick and friendly, unlike LHR or BKK. Only 1.5 hour transit in HEL.
And go look at the reasonable fares compared to any national carrier when departing thier home base.

Thanks for the comments.

I am starting the journey in Oz however, and BKK is acting as a (work related) stopover rather than the start. I'd prefer to fly straight through on the return.

Looking at being creative, but TG is certainly the fastest for the comparable fare.
