I have had a look and think the answer is no, but can I get status credits for VA flights with any star alliance carriers?

Thanks.

Singapore airlines will get you both pts/SCs plus some lounge access https://www.ausbt.com.au/singapore-airlines-lounge-guide-for-velocity-gold-platinum. Air canada may get you some pts but no S.C. when booked through va as a codeshare

You'll earn status credits with nearly any SQ flight, even if it's not a VA codeshare. It's an easy way to rack up SCs.

Actually, either. I primarily fly One world when I can, but company policy often forces me to take VA domestically (especially to Canberra where QF is often double) or AC/UA to the US. What I am looking to do it maximise my benefits. So when ever works best.

You should be able to swap points between Velocity (VA) and Krisflyer (SQ), then trade them off from SQ to *A.

VA also has codeshare partnerships with AC (Air Canada) and SA (South African Airways) where you should be able to earn points off. Those are the only 3 *A carriers that VA has a partnership with.

There are no points/credits on *A carriers not partnered with VA, as VA is not a *A member.
