Hello everyone, I'm travelling MEL-SIN on QF reaching SIN at 22:30, connecting to DEL via KUL on MH at 06:30 AM next day.

Are there any lounges where I could spend the night and refresh before heading out next morning ? I'm QF Gold.

I rang up MH to check if they've got any 24 hour lounges in SIN (as my next flight is on MH) - no luck there

I looked up lounges on the OW website, found some lounges, however, the QF lounge closes at 11 PM, followed by CX lounge at 3:00 AM.
There is SATS Premier in T3 and T2, which are 24 hour lounges. But I was only able to find contact number for SATS in T3 and was informed that SATS at T3 not for OW members and SATS T2 was. However, there is no phone number for T2 on the internet.

When speaking to T3, I asked if I could be connected - no luck there and they said they can't share T2's phone number due to privacy (?) issues :)

Has anyone spent the night in SIN airport ? Any lounges available ?

Thanks in advance

SATS T2 is available based on your OW Sapphire status and next onward flight with Malaysian. The lounge is average (basic food and beverage options) and will be quite busy and bright overnight. My suggestion would be to consider the transit hotels within the airport. I think it's approximately 100 SGD and you will feel way better heading off to Delhi in the morning.

Also, the CX lounge won't be available to you as it's located in T4 which isn't connected.

The Qantas lounge does indeed close at 11pm (but may stay open later if QF services are delayed) and you won't be able to access the Cathay lounge as it's in another terminal.

MH does indeed use the SATS lounge in T2 as their contract lounge (phone number on the changi airport website is +65 6541 8885). It's worth noting that whilst the lounge is open 24/7 they may not accept MH passengers until 3 hours before the flights (or whatever time the contract with MH starts).

Even if you do have access to the lounge, it's still 6-7 hours sitting upright in a seat and you'd probably have a better nap in the designated rest areas around the airport featuring flat couches. I'd also look at spending $65 for a room in the transit hotel (T2 is cheapest) that way you'd be able to have a good night sleep.

I would suggest the transit hotel... while sitting in a lounge may be relaxing during some parts of the day, the timing of your travel may be better suited laying down, even if it is only for a few hours after a nice shower.

Thanks everyone for your suggestions. I think I'll most likely go with the transit hotel option.

If you do want the transit hotel, book online to guarantee you will get your slot.

Do not do what I did once, thought I could just book it there and then, for use there and then, nak, does not work like that.
Those transit hotels (except Yotel which I have not tried), but the transit hotels do get booked and used very very well, so if you don't book ahead of time, you might not be able to slot into them at all.

Also having done similar timings a number of times, if opting for the transit hotel make sure you're either a very heavy sleeper or be prepared to sleep with headphones on - I tried it twice and was kept awake both times by constant opening closing of room & bathroom doors. Now I splash the extra cash and stay at the Crowne Plaza for a guaranteed comfortable sleep, even if only for 5 hours or so. Arriving that late at night you're through immigration and luggage (if you have any), checked in and in your room in less than 20 mins or so

Singapore is a fantastic place so with that amount of time why not head out to Clarke Quay. Grab a late dinner and some drinks. Maybe something at Little India. At that time of night it's a quick 20 mins each way by taxi.

This is a great suggestion. Singapore nightlife definitely worth sampling. If OP decides on late dinner and drinks at Clarke Quay, he/she might choose to overnight at the Novotel Clarke Quay or Furama City Centre hotel, both a few minutes walk from the waterfront. Then get an Uber to the airport early in the morning.
