Last June, I was quarantined at The Radisson on O'Connell Street. Clean comfy rooms, helpful staff. No opening windows though, but that's not completely unusual in an inner city hotel.
I am arriving Saturday, the 20th. I have a Visa, working, and an exemption letter from Border Force due to work we are doing. We are being flown into Sydney, and were given reservations to a Marriot Hotel, Pier One?. They emailed me and said they arent a self isolation hotel and we need to make reservations elsewhere..
These reservations were made weeks ago, with paperwork from Aus government approving us as exempt etc.
We will have PCR tests done, etc etc. This is kinda odd that the hotel emailed saying this. Thoughts?
For large families with young kids- is there a provision to book serviced apartments?
We're expecting returning members but they've got a brood of young ones and 2weeks in a hotel room, no matter how luxurious, without cooking facilities and fresh air is causing the mom a lot of anxiety.
I've been keeping a list of hotels that I know of, but do you know of a central repository for this information? Straight up, every accom request I receive is "make sure it's not a quarantine hotel". Ask the local tourism board and it's a brick wall. How do we cater for VIP requests if local authorities will not cooperate?

Also add the Mantra Haymarket to the list, as part of the quarantine network - due to today's NSW diagnosis.
The individual worked at both the previously mentioned Accor Sofitel Wentworth and also the Mantra Haymarket.
