Four Seasons Hotel Sydney opens swish Lounge 32 executive club

The Four Seasons Hotel Sydney has opened the doors to its new executive club, now dubbed Lounge 32.

It's a space which the five-star hotel describes as being "designed to meet growing demand from both leisure and business guests for a home-away-from-home experience when they travel."

Located on level 32 of the hotel (well, we figure you could have guessed that!), Lounge 32's "luxurious yet homely look and feel" includes a central open-plan kitchen with open bar, self-service fridges stocked with Australian wines, plus a selection of healthy "homemade-style" dishes.

The new venue also features plush armchairs and velvet lounges, designer homewares, a luxurious naturally-lit meeting room, and sweeping views of Sydney city and harbour, best enjoyed from soft leather banquettes tucked into each bay window.

Guests staying at the hotel's Club rooms or Club suites can pop into Level 32 for the buffet breakfast with eggs cooked to order by personal chefs, all-day refreshments, evening gourmet canapés and an open bar, 'premium Wi-Fi', private check in and out, a personal concierge service and valet pressing.

PREVIOUS | Sydney's Four Seasons Hotel is giving its executive club a ‘home away from home’ makeover.

That is, if your home was a high-rise apartment decorated by an award-winning designer and featured bay windows overlooking the Sydney harbour.

If not, you might want to treat yourself to a few days at this iconic hotel and its can’t-miss location at the top of George Street and the gateway to The Rocks.

Perched on the 32nd floor, the new Executive Club is being re-imagined as “a luxury residential-style retreat overlooking the harbour”.

Four Seasons has enlisted Australian interior designer Miriam Fanning of Mim Design to reinvent the exclusive space, with a design inspired by the hotel’s history and harbourside location.

The refresh will also see locally-sourced seasonal produce and an open bar stocking premium spirits and a sommelier’s selection of Australian wines.

In order to achieve all this, the Executive Club will close its doors from September 25, 2016 and is expected to re-open in December 2016.

Guests staying in the hotel’s 51 Club rooms during the renovation period will receive complimentary breakfast in the hotel’s Pei Modern restaurant and an additional $40 ‘per person, per room, per night’ beverage credit for Pei Modern or the hotel’s spirits and cocktail bar, Grain.

Club guests will also receive free garment pressing and premium high-speed Internet.

The Four Seasons Sydney tells Australian Business Traveller that “to ensure minimal disruption to guests during the renovation, we will close Club accommodation rooms on level 32 and also on the floor above and below on the days where construction will take place."

It's all happening at Level 32. I would definitely book a club room to avail myself of those wonderful facilities, buffet breakfast, all day snacks, gourmet canapes and open bar.

Sure thing Four Seasons employee ;)

Joking aside - it looks pretty neat, but I'm not sure if it's enough to convince people to use Four Seasons alone (if they weren't convinced before).
