The Qantas Oneworld LAX business class lounge is now open, bringing a dose of familiarity to travellers flying out of Los Angeles' Tom Bradley International Terminal.
Qantas locked the doors on this spacious lounge, which features a very mid-century modern circular lounge wrapped around an artificial fire pit, in March 2020 as the pandemic began its global sweep.
But international travel is on the rebound, and Qantas will this weekend add Melbourne-Los Angeles flights to the daily Sydney-LAX service.
Of course, the lounge isn't all about Qantas – the airline operates it as a shared Oneworld lounge, with the welcome mat rolled out for business class passengers and top-tier frequent flyers (Oneworld Sapphire and Emerald) of any Oneworld member flying out of TBIT.
That roster currently includes British Airways, Cathay Pacific, Finnair, JAL and Qatar Airways, among others.
The current opening (or rather reopening) hours of the Qantas Oneworld LAX business class lounge are 3pm to 8.45pm.
However, if you're holding a complimentary Qantas lounge pass or invitation, the airline notes that those are not being accepted at the LAX lounge "at this time."
The adjacent Qantas LAX first class lounge remains closed, although it's expected to be back in early 2022 and certainly in time for the return of Qantas' Airbus A380 flights from Sydney to Los Angeles on March 27.
