Qantas: QF7 to Dallas Fort Worth still running despite storms

IN BRIEF | Qantas says today's QF7 flight from Sydney to Dallas Fort Worth will still depart as scheduled, despite wild storms and tornadoes which are ripping through Dallas and across Texas.

"No Qantas flights are affected" by the extreme weather conditions, a spokesperson for the airline told Australian Business Traveller. "Weather conditions (are) predicted to clear by 2100 on 3 April, (and) QF7 lands 1845 on 4 April."

Onwards connections via oneworld partner American Airlines should also be good, says Qantas.

While American Airlines canceled more than 400 flights in and out of DFW this morning, Australian time, the airport remains open "and AA have commenced services to the west coast" Qantas says. "AA east cost services will resume shortly."
