I didn't see the point of sliding doors until two recent night flights on BA where they proved their worth in a) reducing the disturbance of passers-by and b) blocking the extremely bright and flickering light of what are nowadays huge TV screens in surrounding seats.  

Great but Zoom meetings only for me instead of physical U.S.A. visits and certainly no vacations there whilst the crazies are running the show.
