...update. Just got through but instead of the call going through to Frequent Flyer Program, which was the number I called, I was routed to reservations. The operator apologised and has now placed me back in the queue yaay! 

AVOID Qantas altogether. Only in Australia and only with Qantas. I have now been waiting on the telephone for 56 minutes 11 seconds waiting to speak with someone from Qantas Frequent Flyer to change details that can't be changed online. The Qantas message has now cycled through at least 20 times ...
