Can't blame QF for this, as much as some people here seem to like to do. Tech issues abound in today's world, QF techs need time to get this sorted or the 'launch' will be a laughable failure and QF will get panned big-time by media. Kudos for doing it right, QF.

Yes, you're right, Alan Joyce should listen to you and go right out and cancel his Boeing 787 order and buy a bunch of A350s just because you said so, obviously you have much more experience running an airline than he does.

Very nice, and overdue at T5, even the current 'fast track' channel is still clogged around peak periods so this will be a big improvement.

A good summary, Smit0847. I'd suggest VA has the best seat, as I am on the tall side, but also it has more useful working & stowage space around the seat than the CX product. The Qantas HKG lounge is excellent but I would say The Pier Business Class tops is.

A bit tough there, DeepAvThroat, even though I agree with your sentiments! Henrus, I don't mind the ads on AusBT because they are not intrusive or 'over the top'. A few days ago I was on a Qantas flight from Hong Kong to Sydney in business class (on a Boeing 747) and the seat was faulty. It wouldn't recline all the way into a fled bed, would only recline part of the way. The flight was full so I couldn't be moved to another seat. What does everybody here c...
