While it might not be their preferred option I've had no issue receiving refunds from Qantas and others on request - just asking may be a better first step before taking the step of joining a class action

Is it a regulatory requirement that they have to keep operating? If they shut down for 6 months or more would they risk losing their licence to operate?

Looking at the pictures I was wondering the exact same thing - looked like a chair in front of the cockpit door! or if taken from the other side where are the stairs ?

Qantas shortest I've had is 4 weeks, longest almost 8 weeks, pays to follow up as they can escalate through the finance team if you are over 45 days .. I had one pushed through for me today like this
