Used Ola for the first time on Friday. Base points plus 1,000 bonus Velocity points for first Ola ride credited within 24 hours.Price was better than Uber; on par with Didi.Unlike Uber and Didi, I could not include a specific note to say where exactly I was waiting at ride-share pickup. Fortunate...

I had to look it up myself: Mogadishu, which would be a hilarious sell. “So we're routing you through Somalia, but don't worry, not the civil war part.”

Qantas claims the fuel stop would be preferable because it would "minimise disruption" on "these heavily booked flights." As has been noted, these flights are full at a premium price in large part because of the nonstop nature of the service. That stop is a disruption for all and undoes a lot of ...

Flew them as well a few times, on-time and no issues. Hand luggage was never weighed, but could be, though I believe the limits are on par with most carriers in Oz anyway.

Though a bit dated, the PE seat itself on the current A380 is the best I've experienced comfort wise. Unless I'm in J, I'm in no hurry to see the refurbs on my routes. Have yet to fly the 787 and have avoided thus far given the reviews. It's all relative, and not all PE is created equal. I was bas...
