One sad thing about Eurostar is the lounges cannot be used by Australian issued Amex Platinum Charge card. I tried my luck last year while take the train from London to Amsterdam, but denied access unfortunately.

Totally agree with you. Comparing to the zoo like QF lounge pretty much everywhere, EK lounge at DXB feels like paradise. (Well I am talking about biz not first though)
