Sadly a few international airlines have decided to pull the plug on Brisbane, Etihad, Royal Brunei, Thai AirAsia X and now Thai joins the list. Korean Air has also closed its Brisbane offices and let go all it's staff, Malaysia Airlines could join also. But there is alot of uncertainty at the mom...

UPDATE: Thai has since re-instated double daily services to Melbourne, effective 27 October. All other Australian routes remained unchanged.

PR has used the A321NEO's on MEL-MNL, however I heard that demand was so great that they decided to just fly the A330's on the route.

Great to see MH increasing MEL flights to 17 weekly, the morning service is a big welcome.

It may be because they are either starting CBR flights or are adding codeshare services with Qantas.

Hopefully Air China get it and then Beijing Capital start a different route say from Shenzhen to BNE or vice versa.
