VA business on 777 and A330 was always a personal favourite, as well as the PE product on the 777. Very sad to see this happen, but I guess it was inevitable. Glad the airline appears to be surviving.

China Airlines is one of those underestimated/forgotten carrier that flys to Australia. They have an excellent value for money product, slightly different way to get to Europe / East Coast USA, and great connections in Europe with SkyTeam. I wish them all the best with the name change....

I travel a lot to the US, and for me Skyteam would be the better optoin, as DL is far and above the best of the US carrier I have travelled on. The Skyteam options for Euopre are pretty good with KL/AF, and Asia is a interesting mix. However, the logical option would be Star alliance. This is ...

The only downside is that I find when I travel with the QF/SQ arrangement is that SQ do not allow you to choose your seat. I often get stuck with a middle seat on the SQ sector to India....

Walked throught on Saturday morning in T3. Walked passed a HKG flight which was leaving the same time as my flight, and there was only a handfull of people on the watiing area. My flight to Sydney was relativly full (in business anyhow)....
