    Rang Qantas and said I was aware of the flight bookings and asked my trip to the US via HNL to be rerouted via LAX. Said until QF rang me I would have to pay the change fees etc. I said when will QF call me ? QF unable to give me a date and said your service is absolutely shambolic at the moment ...

    Hi Everyone, if a booking is made under the DSC promotion and one of the flight dates are then changed to another date, would I still be entitled to the Double status credits?

    My understanding is that when flying Jetstar, your QF status will play no part. I.e this means no priority check in. However, you can still access the lounge.

    I'm going with Sri Lanka. It's an up and coming tourist destination. You can even get flights for under $1,000 if booking early.The AU dollar still gives you good spending power when converted. It's not as commercialised as other countries.
