My family (2+1) is flying to BKK from SYD on Emirates business class. We will have some luggage including 4 big suitcases.

I wanted to know what type of cars do they use to ensure we have enough room to carry our luggage.

I know sometimes they even use Corolla in some other cities which may not be suitable to carry our luggage.

We have option to book 2 cars. So if they use small cars, then I can book 2 instead of 1.

Any suggestions?

We booked 2 once and when they called to confirm I just explained we had a lot of luggage, so they sent a Mercedes E class for us and a minivan for the luggage, was funny arriving at the hotel :-)

As with ozmille above, usually an an e200, but sometimes a BMW5.

Definitely not a Corolla, but you still might need the second car for the luggage.

I flew from BKK to Sydney on EK first class and it was a BMW 7 series (albeit with plastic seats rather than leather)

I flew first and both directions were a pretty old e200. On the way to BKK the driver kept falling asleep. His speed was slow and erratic and he was drifting in the lane. We had to keep talking loudly to keep him awake. It was a terrible experience and I made a complaint

Just used EK limousines in Dubai with three medium checked bags, small checked bag, back pack carry on, briefcase and laptop bag which all fitted into Mercedes sedan without problem and the same in London with QF limousines. Sydney used a Mercedes bus to ensure it all fitted.

I'm flying Emirates in Business Class from SYD to Madrid and Rome to SYD next year. Does Emirates provide limo transfers in Australia? Any seats to avoid in Business on the A380?
