Going through the same issue now. They use the same system as an excuse, do AA/FJ/CX use the same system? So why can they have points allocated in 24 hours.In my discussions with JQ, they said points are managed by Qantas.I can't help but feel, there is a reason this has become a 28 days process time as it was never the case prior. I think they delay the processing on the thought people don't keep track and follow up.

Some have said it is with Jetstar,
perhaps wanting to hold funds for longer before transferring funds for points
to Qanats, however I think the issue appears to be with Qantas.
When I have chased Jetstar as the Qantas Platinum
service person said he was a Jetstar issue and to contact them. I have been able to establish dates
Jetstar claim's that they advised Qantas or confirmed a claim to Qantas for various
flights. It appears Qantas then now sit on this for weeks.
I also can not help but wonder of
this is a new policy of Qantas as to perhaps try and encourage Qantas bookings
over that of Jetstar. In my case all my Jetstar flights are either NZ domestic or Christchurch - Melbourne, where there is no morning Qantas service.
