The Qantas mobile website and app do not allow classic reward bookings / searches which means having to search via their full desktop website. However this is not always convenient for me.

From memory I’m pretty sure there was an option on the mobile site to go to the full desktop version but I can no longer see that.
Does anyone have a solution to search Classic Rewards via mobile?

The Chrome browser on my Android phone lets me manually trigger desktop mode, which then allows me to search and book classic reward seats as usual.

Go to Qantas mobile site. Log in using the link in top right hand corner. Click on the top right hand corner again (now showing a head and shoulders). Click on "Make a Reward booking". Enter your search details. The results will display on the desktop website.

Unfortunately that doesn’t seem to show ‘Classic Reward’ availability.

Searching for award bookings on Mobile is a bit of a pain if using the Qantas website since its not 'native'. I've used the American Airlines mobile app many times to search for award space on AA, Qantas, Alaska and more. Its a pretty good experience too and don't have to deal with a clunky website.

Airline industry still feeds into many legacy systems. When in Doha I saw a lady print reports out on the old dot matrix printers with the blue and white lined paper..
