Really? We'll check that with Fraser Suites' PR agency, as their press release issued last week says "Fraser Suites Perth officially opens its doors this month" - perhaps they've been running as a 'soft opening'...

It seems odd that this article says it's near the Convention Centre. 10 Adelaide Tce is actually in East Perth and is the opposite end of the CBD from the Convention & Expo centre. Over 2.5kms away. I think the buses in the city are still free, but it seems a strange landmark to choose.
It's close to the WACA and a high school, but there's not exactly a lot of life down that end of the city.

Hi kdewsnap, thanks for that comment - I don't know Perth at all (sad to say!)... the observation about proximity of 10 Adelaide Terrace to the Convention Centre was taken from Fraser Suites' press release.

Have to agree with kdewsnap. Google Maps says it's 3km between the two.

have to concur, I live in Perth and the Convention Centre is not a short stroll, it's at the opposite end of the CBD. Public transport between the 2 is free in both directions. Lots of buses serve the 'terrrace'.
