Who it’s for

The Singapore Airlines HighFlyer program is for SMEs with less than 30 travelling employees. If you’ve got more than 30 employees that travel on a regular basis with Singapore Airlines or SilkAir, the Corporate Travel Program will be more suitable for you. The Corporate Travel program will also be more suitable if you’re looking for front-end discounts rather than redeeming points through HighFlyer.

The sign-up process

If HighFlyer is the right program for you, head over to the Singapore Airlines website, navigate to the ‘For Businesses’ option in the top menu, and click the ‘Enrol Now’ button for the HighFlyer program.

At the sign-up form, enter your business name and address, and select how many employees you have.

After that, just enter your contact details and hit the ‘Continue’ button and you’re done – the entire process takes less than 2 minutes to complete, and now you just need to wait for your account to be approved.

In our case, approval happened on the same day that we submitted our application, although it can take up to one week. Once your account is approved, you’ll receive emails with your login details and a formal welcome to the HighFlyer program.

You’ll also receive an email inviting you to share your travel agent’s contact details so that any future bookings made with your travel agent will also accrue HighFlyer points.

To access your account, select the ‘For Businesses’ section of the login modal, choose Corporate Travel Manager from the dropdown, and enter the login details that were emailed to you. Ensure that the flag indicated belongs to your country of registration.

The HighFlyer dashboard

Now that you’ve signed up, you’ll have access to your HighFlyer dashboard where you can easily make flight bookings, manage your travellers and get an overview of your expenditure with the HighFlyer program.

When it’s time to book, make sure you search for flights after you’ve logged into the dashboard so that you can make use of your points.

Remember, your business earns 5 HighFlyer points for every SGD$1 spent, and you can redeem these points for $0.01 SGD each at the payment page. You can start redeeming once your company has accumulated 980 HighFlyer points, using a slider to allocate how many points you want to use.

Managing travellers

Your dashboard also has a handy page to manage your travellers – instead of manually entering their details each time you need to make a booking, you can save traveller profiles in your account and then select them from a dropdown when making bookings.

You can also manage the level of access they have, including whether they can view overall expenditure, and if they can use HighFlyer points for bookings.

Savings for SMEs

If your business regularly takes you to any of the 103 destinations across the 35 countries and territories that Singapore Airlines and SilkAir fly to, then the Singapore Airlines HighFlyer program is a useful tool to streamline the booking process, manage expenditure and earn rewards at the same time. With no joining fees or minimum expenditure required, now is a great time to join the program and start saving – you can sign up here.
