Thanks David, it was a bit of a rushed post (done in the J lounge). So, if I could expand just a bit more; both lounges were very busy on arrival; around 4.30 to 5.30pm. As one can see from your banner-photo, the reception space is pretty cramped for the 2 staff, but it is a pop-up after al...

Tried both today (long story). My thoughts; the 'Gold' lounge seems to has a wider range of food, which you order by talking to a staff member, but is nosier (in a pub-style of way) and you have to use the MEL airport (or Maccas) wifi. at the moment. The 'J/Platinum' lounge is quieter, and you're...

I would rather a full refund, esp when ticket is self-funded. I think you made a good point David in that 'we' need the money as much as the airlines during this challenging period. The 12 month voucher is too short IMHO, esp as it's from date of purchase/issuance. I spent over 7k in Jan for a fa...

I made a claim last year when someone damaged my rental car in a parking area in Northern Ireland and I had to pay an estmated repair amount (that was surprisingly close to the final damage cost) on return of the car. Chubb was the Amex provider; understanadbly there's a process to follow, but I ...

mmm....just checked my QF account online and yep, found out my "lifetime" QC membership now has an expiry date! I don't recall receiving any communication from QF about this.......actually, I wouldn't mind getting some QF correspondence about this, as I'd like to see how their PR dept can spin th...

This might clarify why only some SQ BNE/SIN flights have PE https://www.ausbt.com.au/singapore-airlines-brings-a350s-premium-economy-to-brisbane. I think maybe 2 of the 4 SIN/LHR flights have PE?

I flew SQ 378 into BCN in May; took nearly an hour to get through immigration, but n=1. Other overseas conference delegates said, however, their experience was much better. I also took some internal flights; MAD to BCN - well, that took about 45mins for my luggage to arrive - last lot on the caro...
