I did a survey on this about 4mths ago and they must have been pretty advanced with plans then as questions included whether PE or Y pax would be prepared to pay surcharges ranging from $200 to $500 for the priveledge of sleeping downstairs for some of the journey...

Having just returned from Europe in PE on SQ where 1 leg was on a 'new' 773, I have to say it was the most uncomfortable flight we had. The other 3 were A388's that were a lot more comfy.

SQ via Syd has 2 flights a day that are supposed to be PE however since the beginning of the year 62% of the planes flying SQ222 have only been 3-class load-out. I'm supposed to be on that flight in early April so who knows what will happen. Not going to be happy if we're shoved back into Y...
