So I have just taken this flight, QF49 after taking QF10 from Perth to Melbourne first, and then the crew mentioned that that same 787-9 would next go on to SFO.So just a pointer if flying from Perth on QF10 (going the LHR to PER to MEL flight) is that you will go through Passport control/immigra...

So I just did a transfer today from Australian AMEX Ascent Rewards points to Marriott points. Background - I've been SPG for many years and I used to convert my Ascent into SPG every year or two, using earn on my Platinum Reserve credit card. I was a bit worried as I have already combined my SP...

So Phil, that’s the case for Add-ons I think but the base credit, that isn’t converted to add on, will still remain. A bit like the Telstra prepaid credit that lasts 12 months. The older Three mobile prepaid I bought over four years ago from a Three store expired after a year being ...

Thanks for the info, I might see about a card with a high initial QANTAS points gift. It's just the Marriot points earn I would like to retain. The Priority Pass and free Platinum lounge entries would be a shame to lose with the Plat AMEX creditcard, but honestly I have only used these - one entry ...

Hi all if I want to escalate a dispute over AMEX reward points redemption, does anyone have an email contact that can be used to escalate my case?I've been a Platinum credit card member since 2005, but I'm fatigued, the recent stuff up I had with points, plus continual issues with trying to use t...

agree, but is there a shortcut.. possibly? Failing that, has anyone tried out the Amex Platinum credit card travel service to use the $200 credit - and can they book QANATS flights with points and pay - I would liek to use the credit towards the flights this year...
