I recently took a BA trip from London to Dublin and return. I was surprised at how efficient the boarding was with a zone marked on the boarding pass. I seem to recall being as we were in Business we were zone 1 and boarded first. I am guessing that zone 2 was the rear most seats in the aircraft ...

The resumption of QF on POM-CNS is most welcome! PX have been steadily increasing fares on this route since QF left in 2016. Even although they said they wouldn't! A friend recently booked POM-CNS-POM in economy for around $A1200 albeit over the Christmas/New year period. That's $A50 less than my ...

I just made Lifetime Silver after 20 years of flying! I have been on Platinum for the last few years and got mighty close to P1 on a couple of occasions. The trick is obviously to stick with the one airline which is the whole aim of them offering it.I now wish I had chosen QF over ANZ for 40 round...

That's the one I take (QF652) and QF767 on the return which still seem to be consistently A330. Agree on the BNE lounge as well although I have an international after that so I usually bus over there for breakfast and freshen up.

Very good review! I agree with several of the comments that VA A330 are just slightly ahead. I think that the food and service are better than QF. I actually like the angled window seats as well and overall I find the VA seats better.But......I regularly fly PER-BNE and several years ago the flig...

Recently flew LHR-HKG on CX B777 and HKG-PER on a CX A350. Both flights in PE. No complaints with either sector but I feel that the A350 had more space, more comfort and generally a better all round experience.Interestingly, I would rate the soft product on these two flights as equal to, if not b...

That is not good news! Although I only used it occasionally it was one of the few places that I used my Priority Pass.Whilst not the best lounge out there the staff were friendly and it was always a good place to get a coffee and a toast and Vegemite at 5am when cathcing the first flight up to Po...

I have always thought that buying any sort of lounge access or status is a total waste of hard earned money! Basically if you haven't earned it then you are not flying enough to use it.And as an ex-long term VA Plat you don't really get that much out of it anyway. I found that out when I checked ...

In April I flew Perth to Doha in Qatar First. Three hour transit then Qatar Business to Brussels. No problems at all getting access to Al Safwa. And what an absolutely fantastic lounge! Food was brilliant and cooked to order. Was too early in the morning to have a drink but the coffee was good. A...
