Yes, noticed mine had been reversed this morning... probably a system
error issue....or its a small nudge to go to NZ 15 times before 31 March
2022 to retain WP :)
Yes, 500 in and then reversed out a few days later. Called Qantas and they blamed it on an IT error. Only eligible points for rollover were from flying or some on ground earnings. Looks like I am going to get back 22 status credits from a BP promotion last year.
I said that I returned to Australia on 18th March 2020 and haven't been able to fly anywhere due to this pandemic and hence earn any status credits. Basically I cannot see how anyone could have got anywhere near 500 (at Platinum) to rollover to the next membership year. Almost false advertising.
The QF website specifically calls out the gifting of "50% of your annual Status Credits needed to keep your status"... full line below:
My status end date is 31 January 2022 or 28 February 2022, am I eligible for the status extension?
No.
Only members with a status end date between 31 March 2021 and 31
December 2021 (inclusive) are eligible for the status extension. To
support your ability to retain your status in 2022, you will still be
gifted 50% of your annual Status Credits needed to keep your status as
part of the Status Credit Boost as previously announced.

I’m on the same boat, QF Silver with March membership anniversary. Qantas had initially credited 100 SC to my account that were subsequently reversed and replaced with 50 SC yesterday. Assuming the support gift was 50% of SC needed to retain status after March 2022 as per quote in @BNE007’s post above, I should expect 125 SC, neither 100 SC nor 50 SC. Perhaps QF intends to gift it in instalments like they did last year.

You would have already received the free 125 SC last July.
If you earned SCs on your own over the past year then up to 100 SC will be rolled over this year. Presumably you only earned 50 SC on your own over the past year so that is all that was rolled over.
Had 500 status credits added then removed. And then 60 s/c's added as part of the status support - status credit rollover. As I only earned 40 status credits via flights, I am not sure why the extra 20.
Flummoxed and won't be surprised if they get removed. Meanwhile, they have stuffed up the renewal on my money card. Maybe they were sympathy status credits?
Thanks for the clarification @anonymous. I indeed flew 50SC last membership year, but had 205SC expired at the end of the membership year, so received a total of 155 SC through different boost schemes in the course of 2020. 125 of which were in a single transaction (50% of SC needed to retain Silver) and then monthly instalments of 5 SC for 6 months... One possible explanation is that QF changed their strategy and rather than gifting SC, they renewed membership based on number of flights booked after November/2020 and flown before the end of the membership year...
Same with me. My Platinum has been renewed for 12m and I thought with the 500 SC's and the possibility of ANZ travel only then I was a good chance of retaining status - not now though...
I'm happy to keep on hoping (pretending) that all will be good as I have flow about 10 sectors and will also be able to take part in the most recent Qantas extension from November (?):
What new status support is Qantas providing? Eligible members who reside in Australia or New Zealand who are unable to achieve the Status Credits needed to retain their status will receive a 12-month status extension provided that before the end of their current Membership Year, they simply make at least one new eligible booking for travel before the end of 2021.
Additionally, Qantas will rollover accrued Status Credits for eligible members up to a maximum amount, from their eligible Membership Year to help kick-start their new Membership Year.

Frequent flyers with a membership year ending March 31 have already had their 12 month extension and given their status rollover. In my case, almost 500 status credits, but many have not been able to fly in the past 12 months so had nothing to rollover (see previous comments). These frequent flyers (if platinum) need to earn the usual 1200 status credits through flying before March 2022, despite border closures still being in effect.

I've never been more grateful for my life than the day I met [vladimir kolarov] from thehackerspro.
I was on a trip to Australia with my family when someone stole $4.4 million in cryptocurrency from me. I'd been using [coinbase] for years, but I just thought it was a really good way to keep track of my money—I didn't realize how important it was until it was gone.
When we got back from our trip, I couldn't even make my rent payment because of this theft! I didn't know where else to turn, so I found thehackerspro on Google and reached out to them through their website. To be honest, at first I didn't think they would be able to help me at all—but then [name] called me and got right on it!
They were able to reverse-engineer some of the transactions that had happened during our time in Australia and find out who had stolen my money. And then they went after them! They found out where the thief lived and worked, and then they took him down! They even recovered some of the money from him before he could spend it!

I just received an email on this thinking that my ET account had been hacked. This comes 4-5 weeks after my FB account was hacked in such a way that it was impossible to recover. Anyway Moderator’s it looks like spam.

On a second thought since it happened on the 1st of April, maybe it was a QF April fools joke!
