Has anyone ever got an upgrade flying Emirates on a Qantas ticketed flight?

I was upgraded to Business once on a flight from MEL-AKL on the Emirates A380. I booked through Qantas so it was a QF flight number on my ticket.

Yes, business to first once from Paris-Dubai on a QF ticketed EK flight (I'm QF platinum).
Several other upgrades too but from memory those have been EK ticketed (but they usually say it's because I'm QF platinum).
Conversely, I've never had an operational upgrade on QF metal even though I usually fly on QF more than EK (mind you, I nearly always apply for a points upgrade on QF).

As QF Platinum, never on their metal but on EK 25% of the time J to F on QF tickets.

Spontaneous upgrade I take it, not requested, as QF points can't be used to request an upgrade on EK.

Yes, Sydney to Dubai, upgraded from business to first class. I'm Qantas Platinum so can't say if Golds get upgrades. But I have heard many people report that Emirates is very generous when it comes to upgrading Qantas Platinums and they did a lot of this in the first years of the QF/EK alliance to try and win over many top-tier Qantas customers to book and fly with Emirates.

Emirates have been very generous with op-ups from Business to First for me but my understanding is that Economy needs to be full/oversold before this occurs.

I've had quite a few op-ups from Y to J between SIN/MEL and SYD/AKL on QF tickets and as a QF Platinum. They seem to be much more generous to QFFers than Qantas itself.

Yes got upgrade Dubai to Perth flying on QF flight number. Upgraded at gate as I handed over my economy boarding pass. Couldn't believe my luck!

Yes, upgraded to J from Y AKL-SYD and then again at the gate from J to F from DXB-DUB on a QF classic award ticket. I was platinum at the time, now gold, but have recently been upgraded at the gate from Y to J with Qatar from DOH-SYD also which was a nice surprise. I have never had any sort of free upgrade with QF.

I have always lucked out. I have flown about a dozen time on EK metal with a QF flight number, always in J. Have flown between between Aus and NZ and Aus to Europe. Usually alone, but sometimes together with my partner. I am QF platinum. I have never been upgraded to F. Good to hear that some people have better luck!

I could not agree more after flying MEL-ACK return each week for the past 3.5 years I have had many many upgrades with Emirates on both EK and QF codeshare flights as a QF P1.
I have only had one upgrade with QF in over 200 sectors between MEL- ACK on QF metal....even when J has been completely empty or only 1 employee on staff travel!!! Typical QF who seem to take loyalty for granted.
