Probably some places in the U.S. & maybe Vancouver (if the smaller plane will support more than just seasonal flights) I would think.

Brisbane-Chicago on the 789 if the US govt agree to the AA tie up. Otherwise I don't see new destinations for a while. If the AA tie up is knocked back then DFW will move to 789 but maybe from Melb as well as Sydney later in 2019.

Sydney to Chicago would be nice, I wonder what the economics are of removing the SYD/DFW A380 and replacing with 789 to DFW and 789 to ORD, both daily...???

I think Sydney Chicago is beyond the range of the 789. If the Syd DFW A380 was dropped then a year round daily Syd Hong Kong is the obvious one. Haneda if they can get a decent A380 slot or Melb Hong Kong come to mind.

The numbers already support the 777-8 flying SYD-JFK with QFs seat economics! LHR on the other hand is really gonna push the manufacturers...

this might sound odd but a SYDNEY TO ORLANDO ONE MIGHT WORK.NOW IF ONLY QF/AA can work on rights there.
